If there’s one remake that will never grow old, it’s that of
the tale of Peter Pan. With each adaption, i'm returned to the wondrous days of my childhood, anxiously waiting in a nightgown at my bedroom window for Pan and Tink to whisk me away to Never Never Land in hopes of endless youth and
adventure.
Although, with the introduction of the most anticipated character on ABC's Once Upon A Time, this show would gladly have me trade in my night gown for a lace and mesh corset and wait for Captain Hook to bust
through my window instead, and here’s why.

Irish actor Colin O’Donoghue who has been cast as The
Captain will be joining the Once Upon A Time crew, (literally), on October 21
in the episode “The Crocodile”. Even better, he’s supposed to be a re-occurring
role. He’s described as a “never-back-down” pirate who won’t stop until his
enemies are defeated. In this first appearance we’ll learn about his origin,
before he becomes the fearsome pirate we all think we know.
